Convert javascipt date format into yyyy-mm-dd format [on hold]

Convert javascipt date format into yyyy-mm-dd format [on hold]

I am having two date format like 'dd-mm-yyyy' and 'mm-dd-yyyy' .so I want
to convert this format into 'yyyy-mm-dd' format .how to go about this?
